A street dedication took place Thursday morning on East Eighth Street in Bogalusa, honoring the late Mr. McClurie Sampson Sr.

Friends, family and city officials came to celebrate the honorary street sign dedicated to Sampson, and Mayor Wendy Perrette presented the family with a proclamation.
