Bowling Green School’s boys basketball team was defeated by Copiah Academy, 61-34, in a game that was held on Saturday at home.
Zeke Burford posted 14 points on 7-of-11 from the field to lead Bowling Green in points. Burford pulled down four rebounds and made three steals.
Preston Jarell scored eight points that included two 3-pointers, to go with two assists and a steal.
Camrin Seal recorded five points that included a 3-pointer along with two boards, a blocked shot and two steals.
Hunter Thomas tallied three points, a rebound and a steal.
Tucker Pittman had two points and a rebound.
Wyatt Phelps posted two points and a rebound.
Dray Killingsworth had three assists, while Robert Watson tallied two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Bowling Green’s next contest will be on Dec. 19 against CHEF at home.
