Pine’s Caillouet, Williams win weight class in meet

Pine’s A.J. Caillouet and Ty Williams captured their weight classes at the Holden Holiday Invitational Powerlifting Meet that was held last Saturday.
Caillouet won the 114.5-pound weight class with a total weight of 535. He squatted 200, benched 100 and deadlifted 235 for the win.
Williams topped the 198.3s with a 970. He squatted 315, benched 205 and deadlifted 450 in the win. Andrew Forest was sixth in that weight class. He tallied a 400 total with a 125 bench and a 275 deadlift.
Pine was the only local school in the meet
Nino Martin and Zachary Thomas were third in their weight classes.
Martin competed in the 123.5s and posted a 460 with a 125 squat, 90 bench and 245 deadlift. First place was 600.
Thomas was third in the 181.8s after an 875. Thomas squatted 215, benched 195 and deadlifted 365. First place was 970.
Miller came in fourth for the 165.3s. Miller posted a 915. He squatted 315, benched 185 and deadlifted 415. First place was 1,255.
Andrew Forest was sixth for the 198.3s. He tallied a 400 total with a 125 bench and a 275 deadlift. First place was 970.
In the girls, Emma Kelly was fifth in the 181.8s. Kelly squatted 185, benched 75 and deadlifted 210 for 470 total. First place was 600.
Kathleen Thomas came in eighth for the 148.8s. Thomas had a 505 total with a 170 squat, 105 bench and 230 deadlift. First place was 935.
Pine’s next meet will be on Jan. 28 at Salmen.
