The Lady Demons lost 8-0 in a home contest versus Kenner Discovery on Friday night. Susan Bradford had 15 saves in the loss.

“It was obviously not an ideal result, but I’m not disappointed in our girls at all,” Franklinton coach Matthew Hughes said. “I’m very proud of the effort and toughness they competed with in this game. They did what we asked them to do: lay it on the line for one another. We were far from perfect and we got out-athleted on both sides of the pitch. That is the most athletic team we have played; not necessarily the most skilled, but certainly the most athletic. We are a young team. Our time will come.”

Franklinton’s next game will be on Jan. 23 against Cabrini on the road.
