Bowling Green defeats Columbia Academy

Bowling Green School’s girls basketball team was victorious over Columbia Academy, 51-31, in a home game that was held on Thursday.
Claire Wascom led Bowling Green in points and nearly had a double-double, going for 12 and nine rebounds. She was 4-of-6 from the field. She made both of her 3-point attempts. Wascom also dished out three assists and made a steal.
Bailey Devall posted 11 points, a rebound, three assists and four steals.
Chloe Bertrand recorded 10 points, three boards and five steals.
Kenli Reid registered eight points that included two 3-pointers with two boards and a steal.
Peyton Dupuy scored three points on a 3-pointer.
Kylee Creel tallied three points on a 3-pointer.
Claire Varnado and Lanah Martinez both had two points.
Lydia Tullos pulled down a rebound.
For the game, Bowling Green went 6-for-12 from 3-point range.
Bowling Green’s next game will be on Jan. 27 against Silliman Institute on the road.
