WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced East Baton Rouge will receive $12,312,207.04 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Ida. The funding is reimbursement for debris removal in the wake of the storm.
“Louisianans are resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help Baton Rouge communities continue to recover and help families get back on their feet.”
