Bowling Green captures golf tournament

Bowling Green School’s boys golf team captured a tournament at Oak Lake Golf Course in Clinton on Monday.
Bowling Green posted a 326 as a team with a field of six teams.
Silliman Institute was second with 355, followed by Brookhaven Academy’s 362, Oak Forest Academy’s 378, Cathedral Catholic School’s 388 and Ben’s Ford Christian School’s 407.
Ben’s Ford had three medalists.
Brody Estave won the tournament with a 76.
Teammate Jeremy Bryant was second with an 81 and Jude Rawls tied for third after recording an 84.
Ben’s Ford Christian School had four golfers.
Gavin Davis posted an 89 to top the team.
He was followed on the team by Grayson Perrette’s 103 and Colby Stewart and Braden Weaver both tallied a 108.
The girls played nine holes.
Chloe Bertrand won a two-hole playoff against teammate Ava Shepard, as both carded a 48.
Teammates Alaina Neely and Libby Amaker both recorded a 50 and tied for third.
