WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive a total of $77,230,948.06 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Laura and Ida.
“Louisiana has been hit hard by hurricanes over the past few years from Laura to Ida, but we are resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities continue to rebuild and recover.”
