Mt. Hermon School’s baseball team was defeated by Maurepas, 16-4, in the District 7-B opener at home on Tuesday.

Daeshaun James singled twice, doubled once and drove in a run.

Weston Fortenberry, Sutton Bryan and Caden Gautreaux all had two singles.

Harley Naquin doubled.

Omira Wiliams singled.

Mt. Hermon’s next game is against Maurepas on March 23 on the road.
