Our Lady of the Angels Health, LSU Rural Family Medicine and Southeast Louisiana Area Health Education Center recently co-hosted a Teddy Bear Clinic for Central Elementary School’s Future Healthcare Heroes.
Students got check-ups with their adopted plush pals, were exposed to various health care careers and learned about healthy eating, biometrics, handwashing, imaging, wound care and anatomy.
The Baton Rouge Zydeco hockey team for donating the plush pals.
