Pine’s Lady Raiders were defeated by Amite, 81-28, in the District 9-2A opener for both teams that took place at Pine on Friday.

Haley Martin tallied 10 points to top Pine. Martin made two 3-pointers.

Alyssa Phelps posted seven points that included a 3-pointer.

Kiyasha Clark had five points.

Diamond Dawson put up four points.

Haleigh Temples recorded two points.

Amite has an 11-2 record and tops the LHSAA unofficial Class 2A powerpoint rankings as of last week.
