The Washington Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Franklinton, the City of Bogalusa, and Washington Parish Tourism are coming together to make a difference in our local communities. On Saturday, April 5th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, they are hosting a parish-wide cleanup event to combat litter and keep our neighborhoods clean and beautiful.
This collaborative effort invites all community members to participate and show their support in keeping Washington Parish clean. Whether you’re a family, a group of friends, or an organization, this is a great opportunity to get involved and make a direct impact on the environment.
Where to Pick Up Supplies:
To participate, grab your team, and head to one of the designated supply pickup locations:
• Franklinton: The parking lot in front of Cafe Bouchee at 1103 Cleveland Street
• Bogalusa: Goodyear Fitness Park on Avenue B next to the Bogalusa YMCA
What’s Provided:
Participants will be supplied with garbage bags and gloves to safely collect litter and debris. All you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to help your community.
