Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

SPECIAL TO THE DAILY NEWS

On April 22nd competition between two teams playing in the APA Pool League out of American Legion Post 73 in Picayune, MS. resulted in one player losing more than just the match. Josh Crosby from the team Rail Runners competing with Chris Phelps of 3’s Company had a wager on the outcome of their match. The wager was that the loser had to get his head shaved.

Josh Crosby, a skill 5 level, was matched with Chris Phelps, a skill 4 level for the 4-3 race which meant Josh had to win four games to Chris’ three games. Competition was intense with each game won and lost. In the end Josh Crosby claimed the victory over Chris Phelps by winning the mach 4-1.

With clippers in hand several members of the teams took turns shaving Chris’ head. As you can see in the photos fun was had by all and Chris got a free hair cut.
