Franklinton High School is proud to announce that Weston Webb has earned 2nd place in the prestigious America’s250 contest, a national competition celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

As part of the America’s Field Trip initiative, sponsored by America250, students across the country were invited to share their thoughts and creative expressions on what America means to them. The contest aims to engage the next generation in reflecting on the nation’s past, present, and future as the United States approaches its semiquincentennial in 2026.

Weston’s submission stood out among thousands, earning him second place and national recognition for his powerful perspective. His accomplishment not only brings pride to Franklinton High but also to the entire Washington Parish community.

Congratulations to Weston Webb on this incredible achievement! His voice and vision are helping to shape the conversation around America’s 250th birthday
