Bowling Green senior Trindon Young recently showcased his talent on a big stage, representing District 7 at the State Games of Mississippi in Meridian. Competing as both a pitcher and outfielder, Trindon made the most of this opportunity and represented Bowling Green with pride.
District 7 finished the tournament with a strong 2-1 record, and Trindon played a key role in securing the final win. He earned the victory in Game 3, pitching 1.2 innings. In his first inning of work, he held the opposing team scoreless and recorded a strikeout.

Throughout the event, Trindon demonstrated the determination and skill that earned him a spot among the state’s top players. Performing in front of college scouts and competing with All-Star athletes from across Mississippi, he continued to make Bowling Green proud.
School staff and students had this to say about his accomplishment. “Way to go, Trindon. We are excited to see where your hard work takes you next.”
