Franciscan Service Award:

Sara Stewart

A special congratulations goes to Sara Stewart, Surgical Technologist 2 in the operating room, who was named the latest recipient of the Franciscan Service Award. This prestigious honor recognizes team members who consistently demonstrate the Franciscan values of compassion, respect, and service.

Sara’s colleagues shared heartfelt words in their nominations, highlighting her dedication and quiet strength:

• “Sara works diligently behind the scenes, ensuring that all instruments are prepared, and the environment is sterile without expecting any recognition.”

• “She treats every patient with dignity and respect while providing the best of care without exception.”

• “Sara always exemplifies the Franciscan Spirit in her daily work. She can always be counted on to provide excellent patient care, maintain a positive attitude, and take on extra duties without a complaint. Her pleasant spirit provides a refreshing work environment.”

Thank you, Sara, for being a shining example of servant leadership and for your unwavering dedication to our mission of healing.
