Franklinton’s Demons captured week three play of the Northlake Golf League held Tuesday at Money Hill in Abita Springs.

FHS combined for 189 with its top four golfers, as three teams were eligible for points. Hammond (207) was second, followed by Lakeshore (213).

The golfers played nine holes. Franklinton teammates Zach Ginn and Michael Scallan along with Hammond’s George Royse tied for second with 17 competitors.

Lakeshore’s Jacin Morrison was victorious. He recorded a 44 for the third-straight week. FHS’ Taylor Smith (47) was fifth, followed by teammate Dakota Borne (50).

Hammond participants Jacob Flanagan (52) and Brandon Dalon (53) occupied the next two spots. Franklinton’s Nathan Ackerman (56), Lakeshore’s Jacob Dupuis and Sean Ellington along with Pearl River’s Blake Nelson and Hammond’s Jacob Fontana all tied for ninth.

The girls had just three golfers, all finishing within a stroke of each other. Lakeshore’s Ireland Crosby and Hammond’s Sarah Hunt both recorded a 55 for first with Hammond’s Brittany Dykes shooting a 56.
