Tomorrow morning is the 20th running of the Milltown Classic and it’s for a great cause.

The race helps benefit the Bogalusa Rotary Club. The club participates in a variety of community projects throughout the year, including providing scholarships and donations to local organizations.

This year’s race is being held at the entrance to the Timberlane Subdivision on Louisiana Highway 10 at 8 a.m. The race is normally held in Cassidy Park, but was moved because of damage associated with the March flooding.

Raceday registration begins at 6:30 a.m. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children under 12.

Those running or walking in the 5K race will have a great chance to get in a good cardio workout while also helping out the Bogalusa Rotary Club.

Awards are also being given out for each age group and each participant receives a T-shirt.

Take time out of your day tomorrow to compete while also helping a great cause.
