Copiah-Lincoln freshman outstanding last week

Copiah-Lincoln Community College freshman C.J. Estave put up a strong offensive performance last week.
The 2016 Franklinton High School graduate hit .615 (8-for-13) with two doubles, two homers, three RBIs and three walks.
Besides the .615 batting average, Estave reached base at a .706 clip and posted a slugging percentage of 1.231.
On Tuesday, Estave hit a two-run walk-off single to end a 14-4 mercy rule win over Pearl River Community College.
Copiah-Lincoln ended up splitting with PRCC after a 10-6 loss in the second game.
This season, Estave is hitting .289 with four homers, 25 RBIs and 10 doubles in 135 at-bats.
Estave has a .473 on-base percentage and he is slugging .452. Estave also has five stolen bases in seven attempts for Copiah-Lincoln.
Copiah-Lincoln is 19-24 overall and 13-13 in conference play.
Copiah-Lincoln caps off the regular season tomorrow with a doubleheader at home against Mississippi Delta at 2 p.m.
