Ben’s Ford splits last 2 games

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles tallied a 1-1 record in games that took place on Tuesday and Thursday.
On Thursday, the Eagles lost to Sylva Bay Academy, 61-56, in overtime on the road.
Kameron Underwood recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. He also dished out an assist and blocked a shot.
Jarvis Dawson posted 13 points, four rebounds and a steal.
Tyler Winstead also put up a double-double, as he recorded 11 points, 10 boards, six assists and a steal.
Dalton Crain posted eight points and four boards.
Tucker Keating totaled seven points, two boards and five steals.
Gage Tervalon had two points and three rebounds.
Seth Schilling grabbed two boards, made a steal and blocked a shot while Seth Burns had two boards and a steal and Justin Moore and Isaac Wascom added a rebound each for the Eagles.
In Tuesday’s action, Ben’s Ford cruised past Amite School Center, 62-34, in the District 3AA opener on the road.
Underwood had another solid night, going for 16 points and eight rebounds.
Crain posted 14 points, two boards, three assists and three steals.
Keating tallied 10 points and three rebounds.
Dawson had eight points, six boards, two assists and three steals.
Winstead totaled four points, nine boards, four steals and a blocked shot.
Schilling recorded four points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
Moore posted two points, a rebound and an assist.
Moore had two points, a board and a steal.
Micaiah Rosa tallied two points.
Burns had two boards and three steals while Wascom and Chase Penton grabbed a rebound each and Jarrett Williams and John Robert Holston added a steal each in the victory.
