Tuesday, the city will be coming alive with a variety of events designed to improve cooperation between citizens and law enforcement.

The “National Night Out Against Crime” is a campaign that provides a unique opportunity for residents to increase awareness about crime prevention and safety, get to know their neighbors and meet local law enforcement, with the goal of preventing crime and drug activities to make our city a safer place.

The fun will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Locations are Columbia Street Pocket Park, Avenue B Sports Complex, Superior Avenue Church and William Bailey Park on Austin Street.
