Varnado posted an 0-2 record in games held Saturday and Monday.
Both games were on the road.
On Saturday, the Wildcats fell to Tylertown, Miss., 69-48.
Jaheim Hooks and Kim McGowan posted 14 points each to lead Varnado. McGowan made three 3-pointers and Hooks was good on two.
Brandon Lee posted nine points while Trevon Haynes tallied eight and Adrian Bickham added three. Haynes and Bickham hit a 3-pointer each.
The Wildcats lost a close game to Independence on Monday, 51-46.
Lee was Varnado’s leading scorer with 19 points.
Hooks posted 10 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.
Bickham had five points while McGowan posted four, Jhaquawn McConnell recorded three and Javon Bickham, D’Myjay Bickham and Haynes all tallied two. Adrian Bickham and McConnell made a 3-pointer each.
