A group of nine ladies held the winning ticket for the top prize of $5,000 for last week’s Christmas in the Park raffle drawing at the Washington Economic Development Foundation office.
Christmas in the Park Committee President Col. Bobby Miller said the committee sold 117 of the 150 available tickets at $100 each. The sold tickets equaled $11,700 for a profit of $6,700.
The Lucky Ladies had the winning ticket. The group included Gloria Fortenberry, Betty Bedwell, Jackie Martin, Barbara Martin, Mary Lou Rivere, Polly Martin, McKayla Sandifer, Billy Sue Alford and Fay Branch.
