Pine’s Raiders were defeated by Kentwood, 42-8, in a District 9-2A game that was held Friday on the road.

The loss put the Raiders at 2-4 this season.

Kentwood is 4-2 after its third straight win.

Pine’s next game will take place on Friday against Amite at home in league play.

Amite has a 4-1 record after winning over Independence, 58-0, last week.

Pine was defeated in last year’s matchup, 28-17.

The Raiders have one regular season game left after this week, which takes place on Nov. 20 when Pine hosts Varnado.
