The Franklinton High School National Honor Society’s recent service project had all the local nursing homes “mistle-toes” covered in preparation for Christmas.

Members were asked to bring a pair of socks, whether they were festive or fuzzy. The socks were then tied with pretty ribbon and stuffed with candy canes and chocolate Santas.

They were then sent to residents of Heritage Manor, Good Samaritan, and Resthaven Nursing homes.

The National Honor Society hopes that the members of these nursing homes enjoyed their socks and goodies and had a Merry Christmas.
