Franklinton’s boys and girls tennis teams were defeated by Northlake Christian School, 5-0, in matches that took place on Thursday at Beau Chene Country Club in Mandeville.

In the boys singles matches, Matthew Rogers was defeated 6-4, 6-5 (7-5 tiebreaker).

Bryson Thomas was defeated, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, Rhett Brignac/Andrew Fitzmorris was defeated, 6-1, 7-5.

Keaton Catrett/Sean Bowman and Sidney Richardson/Van Mizell were both defeated, 6-0, 6-1.

In the girls singles matches, McKinley Burt was defeated, 6-3, 6-1.

Dawn Kehoe was defeated, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, Jennifer Dong/McKenna Rushing was defeated, 6-1, 6-0.

Marleigh Schilling/Kendra Williams and Malla Veleces/Kayla Vallejo, 6-0, 6-0.

Franklinton played in the regionals that were held Monday and today.
