Mt. Hermon’s Lady Jackets captured a 20-1 victory over Independence in softball Tuesday at home.

Taylor Blanchard had a bunt single and two walks. Shamya Hart recorded two bunt singles and a walk. Alexis Alford and Carla Martin both walked.

Tiffany Blades tripled and then scored on Kaylei Hughes’ RBI. Hughes walked twice.

Morgan Lusk had a bunt single, a walk and was hit by a pitch. Alyssa Woodard had a pair of bunt singles while Isabella Alford singled. Alyssa Barber posted a bunt single and a walk.

Joley Fortenberry singled and walked while Destiny Brumfield drew a walk in the victory for the Lady Jackets.
