Pine’s Raiders had a win over Perry Central sandwiched around a pair of losses to Poplarville of Mississippi in games held Thursday and Saturday.

On Thursday, Pine was defeated by Poplarville, 15-1, in five innings.

Chase Cooper doubled and scored a run.

On Saturday, Pine was victorious over Perry Central of Mississippi, 7-2.

Clint Miley posted two hits with two runs driven in and a run scored.

Cooper singled and scored two runs.

Brandon Sprehe and Ethan Ryals both doubled and scored a run.

Lucas Lemaire and John Eric Self both posted a hit and a run scored.

Trey Knight singled and posted an RBI.

Bryson Thomas drove in a run.

Sprehe was the winning pitcher after allowing two runs, one earned on two hits with seven strikeouts and seven walks.

Thomas threw two innings of no-hit, no-run ball with three strikeouts and no walks.

Also on Saturday, Pine was defeated by Poplarville, 11-4.

Knight singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored a run.

Thomas doubled, posted two RBIs and a run scored.

Aden Wiggins singled and drove in a run.

Sprehe and Turner Deleon both scored a run.
