Bogalusa defeated Pine and Pine won against Franklinton in girls basketball that was held on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday, Pine defeated Franklinton, 58-22, at home.
Alyssa Phelps scored a game-high 18 points.
Dillon Sumrall posted 14.
Kori Sumrall tallied nine.
Madison Morgan and Addyson Phelps both logged six. Phelps made a 3-pointer.
Kirbee Magee had four.
Bailey Brooks posted one.
Aviya Brown led Franklinton with 10 points.
McKaylah Martin posted five.
Jailynne Webb tallied four.
Jazirya Roberts scored three points on a 3-pointer.
On Tuesday, Bogalusa defeated Pine, 61-47, in District 7-3A play on the road, as Tamerical Peters and Caitlin Holloway both hit the 20-point mark for Bogalusa.
Peters led all scorers with 24 points.
Holloway recorded 20.
Ladericka Payne tallied 12.
Tyasia Toussaint had five.
Addyson Phelps topped Pine with 12 points. Phelps made a 3-pointer.
DIllon Sumrall and Alyssa Phelps both posted nine.
Kori Sumrall recorded eight that included two 3-pointers.
Brooks logged four that included a 3-pointer.
Magee put up two.
Franklinton was defeated by Lakeshore, 53-12, at home Tuesday in a District 8-4A game.
On Thursday, Bogalusa was victorious over Pearl River, 57-30, at home.
Toussaint led Bogalusa with 16 points.
Peters was next with 15.
Holloway posted 11.
Payne tallied seven.
Sydney Perkins recorded four.
Mariah Myles had two.
Willasia Pam recorded one.
Bogalusa’s next game will be on Feb. 3 against Amite at home.
Franklinton’s next game will be on Feb. 7 against Pearl River on the road.
Pine’s will play again on Feb. 3 against Albany on the road.
